DESCRIPTION:Join us at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College on Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. for this special presentation as historian Ilene Evans from Voices From the Earth portrays Rose Cousins\, a ground-breaking aviator from Marion County\, W.Va.\, who dreamed of flying\, but as a black woman\, she faced tremendous obstacles. Rose proved those naysayers wrong.  \nThere is limited seating for the on-campus presentation\, so an RSVP by Nov. 18 to monica.wilson@easternwv.edu is required.  \nFor those who would like to attend the presentation virtually\, the presentation also will be streamed live on Eastern’s Facebook page at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28.
