Enbridge Inc. Donates $3,000 to the Eastern College Foundation in Support of the Wind Energy Program

Moorefield, W.Va. — Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College received a $3,000 donation from Enbridge Inc. on Monday, March 3, 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting student training.

Enbridge Inc. is a global energy leader with operations in West Virginia, including the New Creek Wind Farm in Mineral County.

They have been a dedicated supporter of Eastern for the past three years, making annual contributions to enhance student learning experiences. This year’s donation will go toward upgrading equipment for Eastern’s Wind Energy Technology program, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with industry-leading technology.

“We appreciate the generous support and partnership with Enbridge, and we are always looking to expand our partnership in the energy sector with businesses,” said Dr. Thomas Striplin, Eastern President.
