Meet Your Instructor

Melissa McDonald

Melissa McDonald began instructing the Dental Assistant Program at Eastern in 2019. McDonald knew from a young age that she wanted to work in dentistry — a career that would allow her to work and live in the same county she was born and raised in. She has worked for the same dentist for almost 36 years.

“I enjoy meeting students and learning what has brought them to Eastern to take the dental assistant course,” McDonald said. “I love watching them learn and seeing their progress from start to finish of the class. It is always great to hear from them when they have found a job and are working in the field of dentistry. My hope is that I can help my students reach their goal in dentistry wherever it takes them.”
