Program Outcomes

Upon completion of the Artificial Intelligence program, graduates will be able to:

  1. Explain the foundational concepts, paradigms, and workflow of artificial intelligence and data science;
  2. Apply core Python programming skills and specialized data libraries (NumPy, Pandas);
  3. Analyze datasets using statistical methods and visualization tools to execute exploratory data analysis (EDA);
  4. Implement and evaluate core machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems;
  5. Align AI solutions with organizational goals and propose strategic business applications; and
  6. Assess the ethical impact and societal implications of AI, and communicate technical findings.

Meet Your Instructor!

Dr. Deepak Mehra, Ph.D.

The certificate courses are taught by Dr. Deepak Mehra. He holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering — with research in computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and electromagnetics — and a Master's in Aerospace Engineering, disciplines grounded in computational modeling, numerical analysis, and mathematical reasoning that underpin modern AI.

Dr. Mehra brings thirteen years of experience as an engineering faculty member, most recently as Associate Professor, along with a strong programming background in multi-physics simulation (Fortran and C++) and extensive work in CAD environments. His teaching career reflects a proven ability to make complex technical material clear and approachable for students.
