Eastern aims to help you achieve academic success by offering a wide range of free tutoring services for all Eastern students.
Locations and Services
The Student Lounge and Learning Lab is located at Eastern's Main Campus in Room 102. Services provided include:
- Free tutoring in a wide range of subject areas in various formats, including:
- Student Success Coaches
- Online tutors
- Student lounge with access to computers and printers
- Study areas for groups or individuals
- Assistance with study skills and learning styles
Professional and peer tutors are available to help students learn concepts across a wide range of subject areas. Tutoring is a FREE service provided to all Eastern students.
The Learning Lab is located in room 102A (inside the Student Lounge) and is staffed by Student Success Coaches. Hours for the Learning Lab are Monday through Thursday 9am - 5pm.
A Student Success Coach will be available during posted hours to assist students with online resources.
Students, if you are having difficulty with class assignments, you are struggling with routine coursework, or you just are not happy with your academic performance — maybe it's time for a tutor.
Students are invited to take advantage of this online one-to-one tutoring service at any time.
VIRTUAL LIVE TUTORING
Students can utilize Eastern's free virtual tutor, Katie Branson, who is available at any time to help students enrolled in MTH 121, MTH 135, Human Diversity, or Psychology for the Fall 2021 semester.
