Program Overview
The CLCA certificate is open to students of all majors. It brings intention, reflection, personal development, and community-building to your community leadership journey.
Program Outcomes
Through this certificate, students will be able to:
- Make an impact on a cause or issue you care about.
- Meet other students on campus and statewide who are passionate about making a difference in their communities.
- Networking opportunities with nonprofits, businesses, legislators, and individuals working on issues you care about.
- Learn to advocate for yourself and your loved ones.
- Gain skills for your portfolio, resume, or CV.
Program Requirements
- Attend 7 monthly sessions, September 2024 - April 2025 (Dec. excluded) to engage with other students locally & statewide.
- Complete an impact project focused on a cause or issue important to you.
- Periodic meetings with the program mentor for goal setting & project guidance.
