St. George Medical Clinic Scholarship

The St. George Medical Clinic Scholarship will award one scholarship to a student attending Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College pursuing education in the medical field. One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to the students in the form of a waiver from Eastern’s Foundation to be used for tuition, books, and other related educational costs like scrubs, fees, and lab costs incurred as a result of enrollment at Eastern. The scholarship is renewable for the length of the program, provided that the students maintain a 2.5-grade point average and have completed (2) volunteer services in the local community for which written verification from the source has been received.  The volunteer service must be approved by Monica Wilson or designee.

All applications for the St. George Medical Clinic Scholarship must be submitted by the first Friday in August of each calendar year. A scholarship review committee will make the final selection and award determination.
