Rose Cousins Presentation

Join us at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College on Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. for this special presentation as historian Ilene Evans from Voices From the Earth portrays Rose Cousins, a ground-breaking aviator from Marion County, W.Va., who dreamed of flying, but as a black woman, she faced tremendous obstacles. Rose proved those naysayers wrong.
There is limited seating for the on-campus presentation, so an RSVP by Nov. 18 to monica.wilson@easternwv.edu is required.
