Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College in conjunction with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, Marshall University’s Robert C. Byrd Institute and the West Virginia Department of Education will hold the fourth annual Ag Innovation Showcase on Wednesday, November 14.
The showcase, which brings in attendees from around the region, state, country and world, will highlight new technologies, offer informative speakers, serve as a general meeting to encourage collaboration that will ensure that Ag-Innovation is at the forefront of West Virginia economics.

When: Wednesday, November 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Student sessions will occur between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. with adult sessions beginning at noon.

“One of the goals is to spur innovation and foster excitement among West Virginia’s youth with the additional goal of improving agricultural opportunities in West Virginia,” said Eastern’s New Biz Launchpad Executive Director Tina Metzer. “This is an outstanding event and we are thrilled to once again have the ability to host it in Moorefield.”
At least 22 sessions are scheduled throughout the event on everything from 3D Printing to a USDA Grant Workshop, and Simulated Welding to Poultry Innovation and Information.
