MOORFIELD, W.Va. — Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College hosted a Health Resource Fair on Friday, June 13, 2025, sponsored by the Campus Mental Health Grant-Strategies with Proven Effectiveness. The event brought together 18 health and wellness organizations from across the Potomac Highlands region to share information about the services they offer to the public.

“Bringing so many trusted providers together in one place helps remove the guesswork for our students and community members,” said Monica Wilson, vice president for academics and student services. “Whether someone needed mental-health support, nutrition guidance, or just a place to start, they could walk away with information — and inspiration — to improve their well-being.”
The first 75 attendees received an exclusive Eastern-branded gift bag filled with summer essentials, and all attendees were also entered for a chance to win a portable Bluetooth speaker or a Kindle. Stacey Martin won an Amazon Fire tablet, and Tanya Wright took home a portable Bluetooth speaker.
