MOOREFIELD, W.Va. – The start of the fall 2022 semester at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College is approaching, with academic courses and several of the college’s short-term workforce training programs set to launch the week of Aug. 22.
The last day to register for most of Eastern’s classes is Aug. 19.
Eastern is an open-enrollment institution, with a free application process for academic or workforce students. Financial aid options are available to many students, whether part-time or full-time. Many programs at Eastern as also eligible for the West Virginia Invests program.
Courses are also offered to area high-school students through agreements with county school systems in Eastern’s service district. High school juniors and seniors should ask high school counselors for information on registering for Eastern’s college courses at a discounted tuition rate. Home-schooled students can contact the college directly.
Academic and workforce programs provide instruction in a variety of formats, including online and in-person classes.
For maximum flexibility for prospective students balancing family and work commitments, Eastern is now offering five associate degree programs that are delivered totally online.
Prospective students should consult the Fall 2022 course and workforce schedules. The college’s website also provides information for academic costs or short-term workforce programs costs.
