Eastern students can access the MyEastern portal for several self-service purposes. See instructions below.
Using MyEastern
Unoffical Transcripts
- Be sure you have set up your student account with the ADSS Password Manager.
- Go to the MyEastern website
- Type in your Account Name (the first part of your Eastern email address). It's usually firstnamelastname, all lowercase.
- Type in your Password (same Password you use for BrightSpace and Eastern Email)
- Click on Student and Financial Aid Info
- Click on Student Records
- Click on Academic Transcript
To See Your Grades
- Be sure you have set up your student account with the ADSS Password Manager.
- Go to the MyEastern website
- Type in your Account Name (the first part of your Eastern email address). It's usually firstnamelastname, all lowercase.
- Type in your Password (same Password you use for BrightSpace and Eastern Email)
- Click on Student and Financial Aid Info
- Click on Student Records
- Click on Final Grades
Financial Aid Award Status
Instructions to View Your Financial Aid in MyEastern
Step 1: Log into MyEastern
- Go to the MyEastern website.
- Enter your User ID:

- Format: firstnamelastname (all lowercase, no spaces).
- Enter your PIN:

- Same PIN you use for Brightspace and your Eastern Email.
Step 2: Access Student Self Service
- Once your dashboard opens, click on the Ellucian Student Self Service box.
Step 3: Go to Your Financial Aid Page
- On the next page, click on “Text My Student Aid” at the bottom.
- This will open your Financial Aid page, where you will find:

- Any outstanding Financial Aid requirements
- Your Payment Schedule for awards
- Your Financial Aid Offer
Step 4: Review Your Offer
- Click on the Offer tab at the top of the page.
- This page will display:

- Enrollment Status
- Student Aid Index (SAI)
- Cost of Attendance (COA)

- ⚠️ Note: This is not your bill or charges. It is an estimated budget used to determine financial aid eligibility.

- Grants and Scholarships

- ⚠️ This is also where you will accept or decline any Federal Student Loans, if applicable.

Step 5: Accepting or Declining Aid
- Review your awards carefully:

- Grants, scholarships, and outside aid are automatically accepted for you.
- If you have been offered Federal Student Loans, you must choose to:

- Accept the full amount,
- Accept a partial amount, or
- Decline the loan(s).

- Loans must be accepted or declined within 14 days of your award notice.
- After making your decision, click Submit.
Important Notes
- Print or save a copy of your Financial Aid Offer for your records.
- All offers are initially made based on full-time enrollment (12+ hours for fall and spring).

- 9–11 hours = 75% of full Pell amount
- 6–8 hours = 50% of full Pell amount
- Financial aid offers may be modified at any time if there are changes to:

- Your financial or academic eligibility
- Your enrollment, residency, or degree program
- Availability of funds
Pay Tuition + Fees Online
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
- Be sure you have set up your student account with the ADSS Password Manager.
- Go to the MyEastern website
- Type in your Account Name (the first part of your Eastern email address). It's usually firstnamelastname, all lowercase.
- Type in your Password (same Password you use for BrightSpace and Eastern Email)
- Click on 'Student Records.'
- Click on 'Account Summary by Term' (your Tuition and Fees will display).
- Click 'Pay Tuition and Fees' at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the Term for which you are paying Tuition and Fees from the drop-down box and click 'Submit.' Please make sure you select the correct term before proceeding. Please note: WF = Workforce. Disregard the "view only" and select the term you are paying.
- Enter the Amount you are paying and click 'Submit' (you should pay the total due for the semester unless you have made other arrangements with the business office).
- Click the Credit Card graphic to pay by credit card.
- Enter the required information and click 'Pay.' (Do not click 'Pay' more than once or your payment may be doubled.)
- After the payment has been processed you should receive a 'success' or 'failure' message. After this, you may log out or continue with other tasks on the site.
Register for Classes
- Be sure you have set up your student account with the ADSS Password Manager.
- Go to the MyEastern website
- Type in your Account Name (the first part of your Eastern email address). It's usually firstnamelastname, all lowercase.
- Type in your Password (same Password you use for BrightSpace and Eastern Email)
- Click on Student
- Click on Registration
- Click Add/Drop Classes
- Select the semester for which you want to register and click submit.
- If you know the CRN for each of the classes you want to register for just enter one in each box OR
- You can click Class Search and select by subject or advanced search.
- If you encounter any errors, please contact your advisor or Student Services at 304-434-8000.
