MOOREFIELD, W.Va. – Colton Allanson, a resident of Petersburg, West Virginia, has been hired as the Administrative Assistant at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College. He holds a bachelor of arts in music from Glenville State College, where he graduated in the fall of 2022. Before joining Eastern’s team, he worked as a student worker at Glenville State University. “My skills learned during my time as an Office Assistant – Student Worker at Glenville State will translate and help me here at Eastern,” said Allanson. In his free time, Allanson enjoys performing. “I have a passion for the fine arts, particularly music,” said Allanson, “I perform mainly on the Tenor Sax.” When asked about what he has enjoyed so far at Eastern, he said, “The staff have all been friendly and accommodating in helping introduce me.”
