Dental Assisting - Online

The Online Dental Assisting Program prepares students for entry-level positions in one of the fastest-growing healthcare professions.  The purpose of this program is to familiarize students with all areas of administrative and clinical dental assisting focusing on the responsibilities required to function as an assistant in a dental practice.

Program Schedule

Online. Self-paced. Sixteen-week completion.

Courses include Medical Terminology, Medical Administration*, and Dental Assisting.

*Program can be completed without Medical Administration

Certifications

Students are eligible to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) and Infection Control (ICE) exams for certifications. Students may test at an approved test center or through online remote proctoring.

If taking all three courses, students may also take the Medical Administrative Assistant Certification (CMAA) through NHA.
