With a focus on sustainably building tourism-centered industries, the Potomac Highlands Regional Tourism Initiative with sponsoring partner Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College (Eastern) will hold its second annual Tourism Summit on August 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the National Youth Science Center, 94 Riverstone Drive in Davis.
Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Moorefield will host an exhibition by Signature Members of the West Virginia Watercolor Society, Aug. 13 – Oct. 26, in the college’s first-floor Eagle’s Nest Gallery. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, and the public is invited to attend.
