ELKINS, W.Va. – Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College is working with the Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA) in Elkins to provide healthcare workforce courses as part of RCHA’s Targeted Health Instruction of North Central WV (THINC) program. Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College has expanded its Community Engagement and Partnerships department with the hiring of four new employees to help carry out its mission of providing affordable and accessible academic, technical, workforce training, and life-long learning for the Potomac Highlands regional community.
Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College has hired Dr. Thomas (Tom) Fuhr as the Interim Dean of Community Engagement and Partnerships.
As the chief workforce education and community partnerships officer, Dr. Fuhr will be responsible for the development and implementation of instructional systems, credit and non-credit instructional programs, and services in support of employers, economic development professionals, and life-long learning.
