“This was a great opportunity for all WV Financial Aid Administers to get together, network, and learn about the many new changes and challenges that we experience every day. For this year’s spring conference, I was honored to present at one of the main general sessions with my Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair, Consuela Philips from Valley College,” said Cole, “Both of us gave real-life diversity scenarios that we dealt with and did fun diversity activities with our peers. It was a great experience and I am always thankful for the opportunity to share my experiences with others. My favorite quote is by Amanda Gorman “For there is always light if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
