The West Virginia’s Higher Education Policy Commission and Community and Technical College System awarded $85,000 in grants to support strengthened diversity efforts at higher education institutions across the state, including Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College. The grant projects are designed to support campus-led initiatives that make higher education more accessible to people of all ages, races, genders and backgrounds. Examples of funded projects include conducting various diversity trainings and presentations for students, faculty, and staff. These presentations are made available as part of Eastern’s project titled “Human Growth.”
