Would you like your non-profit board to be better skilled in asking for donations? Would you like to improve your own asking skills? If so, there is an upcoming web training that you may find beneficial. This workshop will focus on science and the art of that magic moment – and the steps leading up to it. Based on practice and theory, this will help nonprofit professionals and board members in making the fundraising process effective and efficient.
Making the Ask: A Training for Non-Profit Boards and Staff will be provided on Wednesday, August 19th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Zoom. The cost is $15 per person. Go to https://bit.ly/32M1TbM to register. The web training will be conducted by John Rainone Ed.D., President of Dabney S Lancaster Community College in Clifton Forge, VA, and long-time fundraiser.
This Non-Profit Board Development Training is presented through a collaboration of Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College Foundation, and Hampshire County Community Foundation & Hardy County Community Foundation (affiliates of the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation).
“We are excited about this upcoming training that I think could benefit many local non-profit organizations”, said Charles Bolyard, Director of Institutional and Student Advancement at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College. “We hope to offer non-profit trainings in the future,” he added.
